If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when we PATIENTLY endure the same sufferings that we suffer. 2 Cor. 1:6
Paul took pleasure in knowing that his sufferings was intended to encourage others around him. Only God can take one’s sufferings and use it for His good. The sufferings we may go through whether, job loss, financial difficulty, marriage problems, health issues, etc, as believers have an intentional purpose to serve to comfort others and trust in the King of Kings much more. We should live with thanksgiving in our hearts b/c God has allowed us to suffer for Him. Through our sufferings we have the AWESOME opportunity to share in the COMFORT of salvation and deliverance. Thank you dear Jesus for allowing me to share in your suffering so that I may experience your deliverance.
